Finance Analyst - FP&A (Financial Planning & Analytics)
Our client, a leading multinational retailer, is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team, based in Pinetown.
The main role is to support the finance manager in all analysis, planning and other business partnering tasks relevant to the region or area of focus.
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position
- B Com or equivalent with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a finance team
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge
- Commercial Acumen
- Trend Analysis and Reporting
- Attention to detail
- Ensure timely execution of all tasks
- Ensure planning & improvement of all processes
- Adapt to changes
KPA's and Accountabilities
- Analysis support
Supports the Finance manager in providing insight through analysis of all relevant areas being reported on.
Detailed review of Monthly P&L's and balance sheets across the relevant regional businesses, with the aim of gaining key insights into the business and producing a standardised management reporting deck within pre-determined deadlines.
- Monthly reporting
Monthly reporting on all relevant internal and external requirements.
Assistance with preparation of annual budget which typically covers a forecast period (11 months) and a budget period (12 months).
Assistance in the collation of the 3 Year Plan
Assist with explanations for internal and external audit with regards to relevant region / area of focus. This includes answering analytical review queries and providing insight into business operations
